Point is the 3 door Astra rear end and roof line looks similar in a lot of ways !
But you are right it does look hot,plenty of power and a LSD as standard with options for different chassis.
Hope HSV can come up with something better than this for the new Holden hatchback.

Saw a Megane R26-R in devon (UK) going the other way on the motorway - looked awesome even though it has red racing chequers! were any of those imported here??

Yeh there was. I was looking at buying one off Carsales just before i bought the VXR. In the ad is said it was very rare - but prob just trying to sell it lol. Didnt end up getting it as it had about 30k's on the clock and got a good deal on my car.

Wow - I really didn't think any got out here...cool I have yet to see one here...was it white with red cheques? How much?

Nah im pretty sure it was yellow - it did have chequers on it... looked pretty mean. I think it was around the mid thirties. Would have been a killer drive though eh? Brembo brakes, LSD - They dropped a few kilos on the R26-R didnt they aswell..?
