Yep. I would dare say the Import of the VXR is now finished. Maybe its making way for the Insgina VXR.

Actually the whole story reads quite well for the future of HSV.
They obviously know they cannot continue to rely on one model for their business plan.

Comments on the Insignia from management all make sense.
And as much as I would like to see the next gen Astra VXR imported if HSV are developing their own 2 litre turbo hatch by dipping into the international parts bin I would be more than happy to consider this car as a purchase.

I love my V8`s but it is not justifiable for me to have one as a daily driver and I would like to stay brand loyal also.  Thumbsup

Couldnt Agree more with you. I hope that they do Bring the VXR insgina. I think it makes good business Sense to have a mid size car in the range.
People are bagging out HSV with the E Series 2. But HSV are making a commitment to producing cars and importing cars and working to building products that more fuel effcient with out too much loss of power.

Actually viewed the E2 range last week.
Like the Maloo and Senator.
GTS is better than I thought from the photos but still not convinced about it`s styling !
At least it has more Kw than the R8 now though.

I've got one in at work as a charity car at the moment. Kinda getting used to them now, although, those LED's are still a sore point.
