Not sure where to put this post - here will do.

Did a track day with MRT yesterday at Wakefield park, way too much fun. Have some pics here and a vid. First track day I've ever done, and it was amongst tuned STI, EVO's Audis (A4 and S3) and 2 golfs (R32 and GTI) Monaro and clubsport etc...some nice motors. Did the first laps with a friend who showed me the line to aim for and to get used to driving on the track with some very fast cars around me.

The car (TMS Stage 3 - for anyone who doesnt know) went very very well - it did understeer - especially when I got brave in the corners -  but simply amazed me how fast this thing can be taken around a corner, not only with me driving - but especially with a trained driver taking it around. The car performed very well - on worn continentals too. i have no doubt it would hammer on semi's next time. the car picked up speed very quickly on the straights and despite the ABS juddering in under heavy braking - it pulled up very well too.

Check out the GTI - I sware 'The Stig' is at the wheel! MRT are driving my car on this one - flat out.

So much fun and highly recommended  Smiley
Pics up shortly...

Mate - VXR was awesome - I loved it. Got positive feedback from both a friend of a friend who races cars and also MRT guy loved it...It really did very well in the corners - considering what it is, and I was amazed at how she went both in and out if approaching at the right speed and angle (which i often didn't - as you gain confidence - you get a bravery that is not balanced with experience!  Grin). but when you look at the other cars there (pics to follow in a sec) - I was stoked. There feedback on my car after driving it - very surprised how quick it was, but felt it was a bit too much with the boost in the gear and rev range...could pull the boost back a tad - (as we know).

I went around in a mates STI - and those go around corners so hard its not funny...but I was still very impressed with mine hey..really got me back into loving it again.

Some pics:

Pics are hard on the track - (and get a bit repetitive) but are ok - I think MRT post a load of proffessional ones up on flicker eventually...they had big zoom lenses and stuff..

A lot of fun mate - should def do a mission through this forum if there enough people interested to do it - is relatively cheap for the amount of fun.
