Mazda 3 MPS hit the Nürburgring to tackle some bikes laying down an impressive time of 8 minutes and 39.66 seconds.

Certainly does track down some vehicles chasing the bikes. Thumbsup

Considering the VXR is less powerful its something Mazda would be not happy with. There for the VXR has a much more balanced chassis then the MPS3.

Just trying to defend my own, but you guys have 100ish kg less then us, imo the MPS is softer then the VXR our limitors in 1-2-3 gears cant be turned off Sad, it sucks cause its the way it is from factory.

Also our chassis are identical to the XR5/RS chassis will infact they are the same lol, also same size brake package just using Mazda Pads and rotors.

For some reason I can't post in your first thread.

Yeah i notice that lol not sure why maybe an admin could have a look :S.

Nah VXR aren't entirely superior both cars have positives and negatives...

Mine has LSD, yours doesnt

Yours has the ability to switch of lower gear limiters, mine doesn't.

Yours is lighter and less powerful mine is opposite.

Mine is more practical, alot of people like the astra look over a 5 door mazda.

Agreed and i think most people will agree that our car takes the beauty contest.... Thumbsup
yeah there is positive and negative in everything around us..
but we can get the LSD and if i remember correctly you cant get rid of your limiter??
we can also get more power lol

Nice to see another red/black theme James Wink Yeh personally havent come up against a MPS yet so cant comment on power but i find that they are very similar looking to other Mazda's... but i guess the same could be said to for our VXR's vs SRI etc

Hey mate yeah I don't mind what you've done with yours Eddy showed me pictures from the Canberra cruise, looks nice Smiley.

Yeah we can remove limiters once we get a reflash of the ECU...

Astra looks alot more racing/sporting then the MPS, MPS looks angry lol but imo more regular people(non car lovers) would say the MPS is easier to live with in day to day driving.

For me though i would be able to put up with the harder stiffer seats since they hold you in heaps, and the average vision from the back if i got them looks.  But I personally cant live with 2 doors in a 4 seater Sad.

Yeh I came from a VX SS Commodore running 280kw atw. But i found the fuel bill and the fact that i never used the back seats that much, was a call to move to something smaller. My VXR is great with the hybrid turbo now - no turbo lag, gets 10L/100km around town and is great on the twisties... but like most on here mine is hardly stock Cool
