I think we spoke about this last year when Vauxhall announced the recall. At the time Holden said there was no issue but surprise surprise, they have now put out a recall for this issue. They won't write to you so best bet is to contact Holden/HSV and get your car booked in. This should be free of charge and doesn't matter if your out of warranty.

It's the Collumn Intergation Module. Basically there is an issue where the wiring loom that pugs into it moves about and gives electrical issues such as the horn not working etc. The recall is to install a clip on it to stop the issue. It's accross the entire Astra AH range.

this sounds like what has happened to my car, it's giving multipul o2 sensor errors and they can't reset them and in the diagnostics it's telling them to check the wiring from each sensor and I'm also having a boost issue... hope it's all because of this CIM shure would save me $400 just to get it all checked

That shouldn't be related to the CIM. Do you have an aftermarket exhaust as that can through the O2 faults up?

All AH's with steering wheel controls, well that's what the recall is for. I don't have an issue with mine either but best to get it done for free through the recall just incase.
