Is it worthwhile to do any mods if you live in Perth?

I want some of those funky pipes under my bonet and maybe RARB. But i guess i will have to import the stuff and then get someone half decent to fit it. The mere fact i called it funky pipes kinda gives you an idea of my under the bonnet DIY capability.

Im thinking cost vs reward if you live in Perth just doesnt add up.

It's the same no matter where you live in Aus as nearly everything I have is imported, except the rarb as it's an Aussie product.

Not sure what your geographical location has to do with modding.
I live in Perth and it has not stopped me purchasing kit.
The reality is unless you own a Commodore or Falcon or a popular Japanese make most of the parts for European performance cars are cheaper if sourced from overseas.
You can purcahse some things in Australia but for the cost of an e-mail you can save a fair bit of money by-passing the local supplier.
All you need to find is a mechanic to install the parts.
Hally83 has put together an excellent where/what/how on the forum if you need to get some ideas for what would best suit your needs.
Good luck,it is not hard I had never purchased so much stuff from overseas as I have in the last twelve months.
I am sure the Mrs thinks I am having a long distance relationship with the constant steam of boxes arriving from O/S  Cheesy

German Car Day 2011
Sunday 24th July
Northam

In previous years this has been the best show day event in WA with a big turnout from BMW, Mercedes, VW, Audi & (Opel) clubs and more.
